15 Days Tanzania National Park tour & Tanzanian Wildlife safari
Day 1: Arrival
After arriving at Kilimanjaro International Airport, our company representative will pick you up and transfer you to Mt. Village Lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: Tarangire
After breakfast you will depart to Olivers Camp. In its own wilderness, the camp is set outside the boundaries of the park. Vast and ancient boulders nearby provide a good vantage point for sunset watchers, and attract admirably agile rock climbing klipspringer antelope, which are impressively small and quick. Tarangire is beautifully unspoilt, and safari drives through the park enjoy wide views to distant variously purpled formations of volcanic mountain ranges. You can enjoy a variety of game activities such as foot safaris, night drives and mountain bike trails. Olivers Camp.
Day 3: Tarangire Cultural Safari:
For a cultural experience, you will go on a walk to visit the neighboring tribes. This is a unique opportunity, mixing the best of wildlife viewing in Tanzania with an introduction to African cultures. The Masai live in the area as well as the Dotoga, who migrated to Tarangire many decades ago, looking for good grazing land. Learning about their history is as fascinating as the breathtaking from the several hilltop peaks in the area. Dinner and overnight at Olivers Camp.
Day 4: Tarangire – Lake Manyara
After breakfast you will drive to Lake Manyara national Park
Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the Park is recognized for its incredible beauty. Lake Manyara National park offers varied ecosystems, incredible birdlife and breathtaking views. The Park is home to elephant, giraffe, buffalo, zebras, a variety of antelope and a large population of hippo. If you are lucky you may see the famous Manyar lions, lazily resting on the branches of the acacia tortilis tree.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater
After your morning breakfast at the lodge, transfer to Ngorongoro Crater. After checking into your lodge, perched high on the crater rim allowing dramatic views into the crater, you will descend the crater walls and spend the remainder of the day viewing wildlife on the crater floor. Dinner and overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge.
Day 6: Wildlife viewing Tour
Early morning game drive inside the Ngorongoro Crater. Ngorongoro Crater is one of the world’s greatest natural spectacles, its magical setting and abundant wildlife never failing to enthral visitors. Its vast plains, strewn with volcanic domes, small craters and tropical forests, accommodate the main animal species of Eastern Africa - lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, cheetahs, zebras, gazelles, gnus, hyenas and jackals. In the afternoon you will go for a walking safari on the crater rim. Overnight at Ngorongoro Sopa lodge.
Day 7: Ngorongoro Crater - Serengeti national Park
After breakfast you will depart for Serengeti national Park with a stop en route at Olduvai Gorge. Transfer to Serengeti. Soon you will continue to the famed Serengeti for an afternoon game view. Dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 8: Wildlife in Serengeti
Embark on an early morning game drive in the park. Serengeti is flourishing with magnificent wildlife. Serengeti is known as one of the best wildlife sanctuary in the world and an estimated 3 million large animals roam the plains. The Serengeti boasts large herds of antelope including Patterson’s eland, Zebra, gazelles, lion, leopard, Cheetah, Hyena, Impala, and large herds of giraffes. Nearly 500 species of birds have been recorded in the park. The Serengeti is an opportunity for one of the best game- viewing in Africa. You will return to your lodge for a sumptuous lunch to gather strength for the afternoon game drive. After the afternoon game drive, you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight at Serengeti Sopa Lodge.
Day 9: Serenget to Zanzibar
After your morning breakfast at the lodge, you will go a morning game drive which will bring you to Seronera for your flight to Zanzibar. Enjoy this adventurous flight, a unique experience of flying over the wildlife and the Indian Ocean. You will be taken to your beach Hotel, Hakuna Majiwe Lodge or matemwe beach Village upon arrival in Zanzibar.
Day 10-11: Zanzibar beaches.
Relax and enjoy the beaches of Zanzibar. There is a wide range of water sport activities you can take part in like snorkelling, scuba diving and Boat trips.
Day 13: Cultural Tour
This tour provides a glimpse into the traditions and cultures. Visit the Dhow Palace in Stone Town. On your way you will take a spice tour where you will learn about in depth information about the exotic spices and also about organically grown herbs. After the tour you will have lunch and have the afternoon at leisure while you wait for dinner to be served at dhow palace.
Day 14: Stone Town Tour
You will go for the Historical Stone Town Tour. You will walk through Stone Town’s winding alleyways and visit the House of wonders, the palace Museum, Dr Livingston’s House and Arab Fort. Visit Zanzibar’s bustling market, the cathedrals and some of the Mosques. Overnight at Dhow Palace.
Day 15: Transfer to the airport
After breakfast you will be driven to the airport or to the harbour.
