A 9 DAY SAFARIS ITINERARY TO MURCHISON FALLS, KIBALE, QUEEN ELIZABETH AND BWINDI AND NATIONAL PARK

Day One:
Have an early departure from your Hotel with your guide to Murchison Falls National Park. Drive through the beautiful country side and Continue through the park stopping at the top of the falls. The sight of the Nile River, the world’s longest river, winding its way through the park and plunging through a narrow gap is unforgettable. Have a game viewing experience en-route to view hippos, elephants, buffalos and a wide range of Birdlife. Overnight at a Luxurious Paraa Safari Lodge/ Sambiya River lodge/Red Chili Camp (Full Board)

Day Two:
Have an early morning game drive to the rolling plains where you have chances of viewing Hartebeest, Lions, Buffalo, primates, Birds, Giraffe and Elephants. Return to the lodge for breakfast, and relax around the swimming pool.
Have an afternoon launch cruise to the bottom of the falls where down river to the delta where the Nile empties into Lake Albert and views of huge Nile Crocodiles, birds, big Pods of Hippos and wildlife.

Day Three:
After an early breakfast, you will depart for the tropical forest of Kibale National Park, passing though verdant countryside and traditional homesteads and farms.
Overnight at a luxurious Ndali Safari Lodge/ Rwenzori view guest house (FB)

Day Four:
After early breakfast, your guide will take you for a guided walk in search of chimpanzees. This chimpanzee tracking tour is adventurous and enjoyable as it takes you to over 15 primate species including the grey cheek and red tailed Mangabey, butterflies and a wide range of Bird species.

Day Five:
Early morning after breakfast, continue with a scenic drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. A scenic view of the mystical Rwenzori Mt. Range and a game drive en route will reward you with views of leopard, Spotted Hyena, lion, elephant, buffalo, bird species and primates.
Overnight at Mweya Safari Lodge/Institute of Ecology (FB)

Day Six:
Have an early morning game drive will provide excellent opportunities to see buffalo, elephant, Uganda Kobs, antelope, Defassa Waterbucks, Spotted Hyena, leopard, lion as well as bird species. In the afternoon, have a boat ride to Kazinga Channel, which is an excellent platform for game viewing, bird watching and photography.

Day Seven:
Following a morning breakfast, we will depart for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the southern sector of the remote and beautiful extension of Queen Elizabeth National Park known as Ishasha, famed for its tree-climbing lions. It’s a beautiful sight to see the lions draped from the trees and we will see hippo, buffalo and topi among other species. Overnight at Gorilla Resort/Buhoma Community Bandas (FB)

Day Eight:
Have early morning breakfast and after a short briefing by the guides, proceed through the undergrowth and thick creepers of the dense rain forest to track for these endangered mammals. Only a few of these Gentle giants have been habituated for humans to visit, making tracking of these elusive apes in their natural habitat both a privilege and an adventure. You will also have an opportunity to view other wildlife including primates, butterflies and Birds. After 1 hour allowed with the giants, return to the lodge.

Day Nine:
The day begins with an early breakfast and after breakfast return to Kampala at your own convenience. Lunch en-route. END OF UGANDA SAFARI.
